INTRODUCTION
Swami Devi Dyal Group of Professional Institutions has excelled in imparting education to the students in the areas of Engineering, Medicine and Management. To continue in this direction of enabling the students, we have started SWAMI DEVI DYAL COLLEGE OF LAW from session 2008-09. The institute offers two courses namely i) Bachleor of Law-3 Years ii) Bachelor of Law - 5 years.

Meet the Principal
Dr. Richa Ranjan,
Principal, Law College

Dr. Richa did her L.L.M. & Ph.D. from M.D. University, Rohtak. Besides this she has done PG Diploma in Labour Laws & Human Rights. She has excellent Administrative qualities and has varied experience in teaching law subjects. She has attended many National and International Conferences and has published numerous Research papers / articles.

2) Bachelor of Law (LL.B Professional): 5 Years Course

Admission Procedure

*Admission will be made on receipt of final approval from the Bar Council of India.

The admissions in LLB Course(s) will be made as per guidelines issued by the State government / Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra on receipt of the final approval form the competent authority

Eligibility Conditions

LLB 3 year Course
Bachelor or Master Degree in any discipline from Kurukshetra University or an equivalent recognized degree with 45% marks in aggregate

LLB 5 year Course
Passed Sr. Secondary exam (10+2) of Board of School Education, Haryana or an equivalent recognized examination with English as one of the subject securing not less than 50% marks. Those who are already Graduate or Post Graduate appeared in Final year of Graduation or placed in Compartment in the qualifying examination are not eligible

Reservation of Seats
As per Haryana Govt policy applicable to self financing Institutions.

Fee Structure
Fees is charged as prescribed by Haryana  State Fee Committee.

Infrastucture

Library
It is well said that 'I require books as I require air'. Reading books for students is synonymous to breathing for humans. Our institute offers the state of library with huge collection of books and reference documents.  The students have the access to the journals and law reports from the law areas of Civil, Criminal, Service, Taxation, Industrial and Labour. The library has been planned and is being continuosly developed by a team of qualified professional library staff and guided  by the Library Council.

Hostel, Mess and Accomodation
The hostel-life incultates a feeling of family among the students and promotes group discussion and exposure of the students. The institute offers hostel and accommodation facilities to the students. The spacious and well equipped rooms are available with single-bed and sharing occupancy. The mess provides excellent food and beverage to the students. Our Institue of hotel management guides the mess staff to prepare best food for the students.

Transportation
The institute is located on the outskirts of Chandigarh and is less than 30-min drive from cities of Ambala and Yamunanagar. We offer daily transport facilities to the students for commutation at minimal costs.
