INTRODUCTION
Computer Engineering Department of the college is one of the major department as it is offering various facilities to the students of Computer Engineering as well as to the other students. This department was started in the year 2001 with an intake of 60 students, which was raised to 90 students from the academic session 2003. This department is offering the latest facilities both in hardware & software. The systems installed in the software labs are having the platform Windows, UNIX & Linux. The computer labs are well equipped with 16 Operating Systems, 9 Application Servers, 10 MSDN development tools and approximately 500 PCs. All licensed software available in the laboratories is as per curricula of the University. The department is also having very well qualified faculty, which can impart quality knowledge to the students. For Computer Department we have 10 Computer labs in IT Block.

HOD PROFILE
Er. Kamal Gupta is working as a Sr. Lecturer & HOD in the department of Computer Engineering. He is serving this institute from the last 6 and half years having total experience 8 years in teaching.He has published many research papers in the area of Computer Science.

Our Department has developed exemplary methods of teaching that helps enhance students' knowledge and comprehend the significance of being team leaders in the area of their interest.

The Faculty members are keen on keeping  abreast of the latest trends in technology through attending Short Term Courses, Conferences and seminars and bringing the garnered information and knowledge on to the students upgrading thereby their level of competence both in the sphere of theory and for practical purposes to make what is learnt to be really fruitful and pragmatic.

As Head of the Department I believe that my faculty is working with a team-spirit to create the best technocrats for the industry and accept the challenges in the global world.
